Tony Wu has a diverse engineering background —from automobile design and control to computer engineering. After receiving PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Minnesota at Twin Cities, Tony joined Intel Corporation in 2005. He has profound knowledge in performance and scalability for cloud and enterprise computing. Recently, Tony has focused on CPU architecture and performance for big data and machine learning applications. He has published a number of technical papers. He is the key inventor and first author of seven US patents (issued/pending) for datacenter scalability and CPU performance.
