HTAP has been emerging to be next-generation architecture of database that "breaks the wall" between transaction processing and analytics. It enables more informed and "in business real time" decision making. But people may wonder what HTAP actually brings to the business, how to avoid fallacies and pitfalls during HTAP adoption so that the true value of HTAP can blossom.
In this session we’ll share our journey of making TiDB a true HTAP database, from the perspective of TiDB’s HTAP architectural evolvement, including both the right things we’ve done, and the lessons we’ve learned.
